Wow, can't believe a year has gone by since the last National Mills
Weekend! For those who aren't already in the know, it's a Nationwide
event that helps to celebrate all Windmills and Watermills around the
country (and of course, just another excuse to highlight our beautiful
Mill in Thornton)! So please do come in and support us. Guided tours up
the Mill will be free, (children must be age 5 or over), but as it tends
to get really busy, be prepared for a bit of a wait - (plenty of time
to browse the ground floor milling history exhibits, the Thornton Gala
memorabilia exhibition upstairs, The Kiln House Art Gallery exhibition
by Chris Knapman, and don't forget you can also get your caricature
portrait done by Chris too whilst you wait)...!
